JENNIFER MCDERMOTT — SENIOR ASSOCIATE

Jennifer McDermott has extensive experience working with school and district leaders to design professional development programs that improve instructional practices. She is a nationally recognized coach of site-based staff developers and has trained staff developers for San Diego City Schools, Long Beach Unified School District, Corpus Christi Independent School District and Chicago Public Schools through the Center for School Improvement at the University of Chicago.

Jennifer has taught in urban high schools and worked with principals and teachers as a site-based staff developer in New York City's District 15. She has an M.A. in English Education from Columbia University Teachers College and a B.S. in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
